That's a good suggestion, and the plugin is being re-written so it may be
possible to implement this.

Just a suggestion: Instead of keeping all your songs in the catalog, try
enabling the trigger 'Search Tracks' in the iTunes trigger prefs. This means
you only need press 1 key and you can get a list of all your songs.

It probably would be a good idea for songs and albums to add the artist name
at least (possibly add it as the details?)
That is quite easily done.
