That’s probably true. I gave the new actions high initial rankings so they
would be the defaults for EQ presets. They should never show up for anything
else, so it’s safe to have them up there.

If you just installed it for the first time, some of them will be pretty high.
But again, they’ll never apply to anything but remote hosts, so it won’t
interfere.

Using them doesn’t change their position in that list. The abbreviations you
type to get to them are stored and ranked, but the actions themselves are only
re-ordered manually. Well, maybe. I guess we wouldn’t be having this
conversation if that were 100% true.

That plug-in hasn’t been touched for a long time. You’re right about the name.

Yes, but it was in June of last year and was included in B61.

Before B61, e-mail addresses weren’t recognized as text, so you couldn’t use
Paste, Large Type, etc. E-mail addresses now have 3 types: e-mail, URL, and
text. The highest action that applies to any one of those types will be the
default. In your case that seems to be “Find With...”. “Compose Email” should
be moved up higher as it only applies to e-mail addresses and won’t interfere
with things that are text (and only text).

Someone should write (or update) a manual explaining how all this works. :-)
