No unusual characters in the path. No I can't get it to work with any other 
files. I've even tried using command G to pull up a file on the top 
directory of an internal partition to make sure. It must be my in my 
preferences somewhere.

In any event, this certainly isn't a deal breaker for me. Thanks again for 
trying to help!
