Much of it should still work as it always did. Based on "frequently visited websites" I'm guessing she made use of Safari History access via Quicksilver which unfortunately no longer works. Safari changed how the history file is stored and the Quicksilver plugin needs to be updated (please please please). A work around is to make a real Safari bookmark for the site, those can still be seen by Quicksilver. So if she has a bookmark for "Deadline Hollywood", typing DE should work to bring it up in QS.
