Well it wrote to Notification Center, which in this case is useless unless I then show the Notification Center. While I like Notification Center, I find some aspects of it annoying. I want both the Today and Notifications tabs visible next to each other and I'd like a media key (that is a function key without pressing the fn key because I like the volume and brightness keys w/o hitting fn) to show/hide it. But that's not Quicksilvers problem (though it would be great if it could solve it :) >> Great, now I get a popup in the middle of the screen with album art and >> track info and even ratings. I stopped using Growl once Notification Center came out and I haven't particularly missed it. I stopped using Adium in favor of iMessage and it seems odd to run it just for iTunes stuff. iTunes can already display banners when a track changes so I'm good with that. Really the only thing I want from the system that I can't find is some key trigger to show me info about what's playing now. I suppose I could bring up the iTunes window, but that's heavy weight and way more info than I want. I had wondered if there are retina display ramifications (as I said I don't have a retina display). I'd be fine if all QS builtin notifications got bigger :) Howard -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group.
