Depending on how long it hangs, you might be able to “Sample Process” in Activity Monitor, but it hasn’t come to that yet.

What version of Quicksilver are you running?

If you select the Move To… action and tab to the third pane, then hit ↓ to show the list of results (if it isn’t already showing), how many total items are there? It should say at the bottom of the results list.
