That's sorted it - so helpful as ever Rob, much appreciated. One other issue since the Mojave installation - trigger commands for toggling the visibility of applications are behaving erratically. Sometimes they're just sluggish, taking a few seconds to work. Other times they require an extra push - for instance, my shortcut for "toggle the visibility of Safari" is CTRL-Spacebar, and it works if I press CTRL again after spacebar.
