I was trying to be funny, not hurtful. I personally have no idea how diligently 
the issues are attacked. Pretty much all I knew was that one had been there 
unresolved since 1997. Now I know a little more, that 251 were resolved. If we 
assume that 1997 is the original issue, then that means that an issue is solved 
on average every 33 days. Is that good or bad?

I’m just a hobby programmer, but I’ll bet I could fix a select after sort issue 
in less than a day. Then again, I’ll bet there are some I might never be able 
to solve.

I guess I’m saying, maybe pick the low hanging fruit, i.e., clean up the easy 
ones first. Like the one I posted about.
