#2099: The note in Berkeley db isn't shown enough. ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: nadavvin | Owner: [email protected] Type: task | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: 6.2 Component: BOOK | Version: SVN Severity: normal | Keywords: ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- The warning in Berkeley db in blfs is apparently not important enough since it's designd as the same text around.
The test suite can take up to '''150 SBUs''' and has a few bugs causing a report of “Regression tests failed”. However, running the t'''est suite is a very exhaustive test of your hardware''', perhaps pushing your machine harder (especially disk I/O) than it will ever see during production use. Note that you must have Tcl installed to run the test suite. I suggest to move the Testing Berkeley DB section behind the installation instructions and to emphasize this. http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/server/databases.html#db -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/2099> BLFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs> Beyond Linux From Scratch -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
