I'm curious to know if the MANDIR parameter is actually required any
longer. I've noticed that the new versions of the autotools use
/usr/share/man as the default now instead of /usr/man. I almost pulled
all the MANDIR parms out of the GNOME build commands, but sort of
forgot about it.
