Great news! The HAL releated stuff now has fixes!!!
The community has provided two patches: one that allows you to change the
exo-mount options (meaning that you can add usefree to your XFCE mounted
devices), and another one that fixes the plobrem with the automounter
throwing cryptic HAL messages when the user pressed the eject button.
I think we can add XFCE back to the book now that these issues are fixed.
I'll provide a combination 4.6.1 patch for these fixes.
