errors. Without the sed, you'll get "undefined references" to some
function when ffmpeg module gets used.
Then I suppose the book should be more explicit with the "command
explanation" for that sed. It says "Fixes building against FFMpeg 0.11.1"
which means to me that it fixes building and not fixes run-time issues. We
can avoid confusion if we are a bit more careful when making our entries
in the book. Thanks for the update about that sed, I will leave it in the
book.
