Thanks, Armin and Bruce. I wish I could write in so few word as you and Xinglp. I spent some time puzzled by this announcement. First, opened both pages (freecode and netfilter.org) and now I also opened BLFS, which, incidentally, is in 1.4.17, so, updated before the announcement. Second, renamed the tarball and downloaded another, just to check if I had by some mistake used a dev one, got same size and hash. But what if ...? Uncompressed both, diffed, again, no difference. Third, asked here if the delay was normal. Anyway, perhaps it is useful pointing out the delay here, although I "asked", not "pointed".
