I am getting the same .so as ArchLinux:

The book has:

Installed Library: libpyglib-gi-2.0-python.so and/or libpyglib-
gi-2.0-python3.so
}}}
which I do not have in the new version.
With these considerations, I was ready to update the book.
Will do it tomorrow.
