The zeros are generally due to upstream servers being down or changed. The vsftpd server has been down for several days. Sourceforge has had a lot of problems. I have not checked each entry. I generally wait a week or so.
The currency scripts are a bit complex generally because so many packages need custom treatment.
Sourceforge is quite problematic because they redirect to mirrors and the mirrors are not always synced properly. That is, I sometimes get a different result from higgs or anduin than I do from home.
