Just a heads-up. According to the thread starting at

The SWIG perl tests (and maybe some other) fail because the current
directory '.' is no more included in @INC.
A patch as been pushed at commit 8855ef2b.
Not sure we want to include that patch now, since a new version of SWIG
would include it. If there is no version of SWIG before the upcoming
package freeze, then, that patch should be included.
