This file can be downloaded from http://downloads.linuxfromscratch.org/udev-config-2.rules.
This also raises a question about the BLFS stuff, and as a proactive person, I created an additional config for blfs to utilize if they so choose to, that will add the usb, audio, and video devices in. This file is located on my server for review at http://ftp.jg555.com/udev/blfs-udev-config-1.rules. This file would be copied to /etc/udev/rules.d/30-blfs.rules.
It has a few dependencies that need to be added to the groups for this file to work properly. audio, dialout, video, and lp would need to be added to the groups file.
If BLFS would like me to, I could create the necessary text for their book to add this in.
Please comment and make recommendations.
The groups/users changes have been applied only to the multi-arch branch only, so for those who want to see the changes, you can view them at http://documents.jg555.com/multi-arch. The multi-arch book, will soon be rendered on the LFS site. The svn of this multi-arch book can be viewed at http://svn.linuxfromscratch.org/viewcvs.cgi/branches/multi-arch.
