I forgot to mention these additions are going into the book as well. 1) the fix for the profile locking thing (a sed to the .in file in the sources) 2) something that may or may not have been mentioned on the lists already, but I figured out how to modify the /usr/bin/thunderbird script so that when you click on a mailto: URL and you have T-Bird running already, it automatically opens up a message compose window with the To: field already filled in. (again, via a sed to the .in file in the sources) If anyone wants seds that you can run on your installed /usr/bin/thunderbird script that fixes these issue above, reply and I'll post them here. They are trivial seds that do quite a bit to improve Thunderbird. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 15:06:01 up 145 days, 14:39, 3 users, load average: 0.99, 0.74, 0.41 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
