Yes, it should. I will fix the book.

It's always nice to have folks that don't follow the instructions tell
us when the book is broken. :-)

Not sure why I didn't check the configure script when I moved the
dependency from 'optional' to 'recommended'. Anyway, thanks for the
mention.
