uncomment it in my installs.
Yes, that's an excellent idea. I build xorg and XFree68 that way.
Also, I note that this #define is not mentioned in XFree86, but I havn't
built that for al loong time.
The switch works for XFree86 too.
Also, I have asked in the past but want to bring it up again not that it
appears that some changes are needed: Is it time to drop xfree86? I
don't want to install it to check out changes. Is there an editor who does?
I build LFS using glibc-cvs and XFree86 will not compile against current glibc.
It did, until about a month ago and it should compile on one of the stable
glibc tarballs.
