Hi all,

I know this subject has been beat to death, so this is acting as a
final summary before I write up new instructions and commit them. Keep
in mind that something can always be changed again if need be.

Of course, if you feel a comment is necessary, feel free to reply. The
instructions are not set in stone yet.

Anyway I'm going to list the changes that are needed after the
discussion from the last message about Firefox:
http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/blfs-dev/2005-December/012570.html

1) Remove the commented line in the object-build directory section
and revise the text just a bit to explain to just change the existing
line if you want the build to be a sub of the source tree.

2) Very similar to #1 above, except apply it to the the installation
prefix section. Remove the commented line and revise the text.

3) Leave --enable-svg commented as it adds a bit of overhead (to
support something that really isn't even in widespread use yet). If
someone wants to build with it, they simply need to remove the comment
pound sign.

4) Keep --enable-canvas enabled (very little, if any, overhead) and
enable the --enable-system-cairo switch (with the cairo switch moved
to the section where system png/jpeg/zlib is enabled)

5) Comment out the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME line out, and write some text
saying it doesn't need to be enabled for end user browsing and is
used for development purposes only.

I believe this include all the changes y'all mentioned. Please reply
if I've missed or overlooked anything.
