Your point is well taken.  We do need to put in a big disclaimer about
the driver issues with different cards.  Something like:

Wireless implementation in Linux is not always easy.  Earlier hardware
and bleeding edge hardware may not have the appropriate drivers available.

If you research and solve a problem that is not covered in the book or
the wiki, we would appreciate it if you update the wiki to add what you
found.
