Hi, It has just come to my attention that the latest CVS source of PDL is currently unavailable unless you have developer status. With anonymous login, you apparently get a version that is a little out of date. This (very unsatisfactory) state of affairs will continue until around the end of April. See http://sourceforge.net/docs/A04/ . So the version of PDL you get from anonymous login might not include the patch that works around the ExtUtils::MakeMaker problem. It's a simple fix to implement, however. Afaik, it's just a matter of inserting 'use blib;' near the start of Demos/BAD_demo.pm.PL and Demos/BAD2_demo.pm.PL.
