I will be testing that in a few days. I generally build opencdk and libtasn1, but then the last time I updated my scripts they weren't part of the gnutls tarball. But again, the reason for the post in the first place was that the layout of the gnutls dep was inconsistent with other parts of the book. With someone not knowing what gnutls consisted of they could easily think that it was a dep for gaim independent of the other 3 packages because they aren't parenthesized. -- Archaic Want control, education, and security from your operating system?
