Hi folks. I did some digging around the LFS site and didn't see anything about this already... hope this is the right place to bring it up.
I'm working on the latest development snapshot of BLFS (svn-20070427), and it appears that the version given for freetype (2.3.4) causes fontconfig (2.3.2) to fail to build. Apparently some header files in freetype changed with the 2.2 branch, and fontconfig didn't catch up until 2.4.x. More info here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7862 I was able to track down a patch which allowed fontconfig to compile. It passed its own 'make check', but I didn't do any further testing beyond that.
