I read from Armin, there is a new xorg-server, and think to upgrade it today. For the other pieces I read from Armin, I will have a more careful look. The first message of this thread was intended to start this discussion, Xorg is obviously important to many, knew Armin, Andrew and I think other editors (DJ comes to mind) are always working on this. The book seems to be a little behind in this subject, and if it is upgraded soon, it will be much easier to do it again in a few months, when Xorg 7.7 will probably be released. Andrew, I agree in part with you, but instead of removing, perhaps commenting would be the way to go. I need, in particular, the vmware drivers, and it was nice having them commented in the lists. I will be willing to make tests, just please, ask me. First thing I will do is to trying to understand why those drivers did not compile. -- []s, Fernando -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
