Why is gconf recommended for gstreamer-plugins-good? I can't remember.
Does it add any extra functionality? If it's just so Totem can build I
it could be moved into the Optional deps with a note that it's required
if building Totem.

Personally, I install Gconf with --disable-introspection. I think
there's a limit to how far we can bend the book to automate installing.
At some point the user will need to look at their error,
read ./configure --help and work out what to do for themselves.
