 Well, whether or not my impression is true, Wayne has a valid
reason for keeping it.  Looking back at the details, transcode in
the list above is actually commented out (needs ffmpeg < 0.11 unless
a distro manages to fix it).

 I'll comment out playdv and gtk1, and move libXv to recommended.
