Thanks ĸen. For what it's worth, Gnash can play almost all YouTube videos for me. Sadly it also displays many adverts just fine as well so it's a bit of a double edged sword :/ It doesn't play any BBC videos. Perhaps it might if I fiddled about with the useragent string or something, but I haven't tried. I just use the closed source Flash blob on our kitchen computer and on my parents computer.
