A few things need to happen all at once to fix the underlying problem 
(which is: we need more bandwidth in general). The mailinglist downloads 
were only part of the problem. A DNS Amplification DDoS attack was 
another. Both have been taken care of for now to buy some time.

I will post details shortly but in short it involves moving hosting 
providers. This process was started a while ago but I had to abandon it 
due to issues with the originally selected provider.

A lot of change on the horizon. All good, too. Just a few growing pains 
along the way until it's all done.
