Hi, On my lfs, I build orca, as I need a screen reader in my daily usage of LFS and because I want to build gnome3.6 to do tests. BLFS mentions, as recommended dependencies, brltty and speech-dispatcher. Indeed, they are nearly mandatory, as without them, orca cannot send its work to any assistive hardware/software, so it hasn't sense. But... well.
These 2 utilities are not fully easy to install, in particular because they need Python modules and, for speech-dispatcher, specific releases. BLFS doesn't describe them, for obvious reasons. Are zou interested adding these packages? I think that is important BLFS to support all packages it mentions, including dependencies. Next, I think it is good to introduce in BLFS accessibility issues, as with gnome3.6 and failures of major distros to package it, blfs is a stillmore important resource. Interested? As Quvi (I'm writing it), we also can do a blog article, but for this precise case, I think adding these packages is important. I wait for your opinion.
