Hi all, In the DejaVu Fonts installation instructions shown on the Xorg configuration page, the instructions seem to need an update. First, the fonts are now in a subdirectory of the source directory, so the installation of the TTF files do not work as shown in the book.
However, the reason I'm asking is that there are .conf files shipped in the tarball that are designed to be installed in /etc/fonts/conf.d, yet there is no instruction to install them. Are they required, or do they help fontconfig in the use of the DejaVu fonts, or can these files be reasonably dismissed? -- Randy rmlscsi: [bogomips 1003.23] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 19:17:02 up 63 days, 5:16, 1 user, load average: 0.47, 0.13, 0.04 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
