OK, I'm done for now.  What I found is that we have 758 packages in 
BLFS, counting the Xorg libs, apps, etc.  Of those, we have 164 that 
indicate a difference between the latest from upstream and what is in 
the book.

Tomorrow I'm going to work on the needed updates to LFS, but then I'll 
start updating the BLFS packages.  I'll create a summary for a group of 
packages that I'll be working to let others know what packages I intend 
to do next.


I do see that some of the scripts put out incorrect values -- 
blfs-bootscripts (need to run the script after the book updates on the 
server) and libcap2 (now fixed) are two I just noticed.
