I have installed git version, works, straight withut patch or sed. But I have the following problem: (cached) checking for cairo.h header... -I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng16 (cached) checking for libcairo library... -lcairo configure: error: Mismatched QT versions! Reset QTDIR in your environment! This is the same error that stops configure for the version in the book 0.8.10. Flash works, but I cannot get youtube to play. Going to install, now, books version, to see if youtube gets any better.
