Hi,
The new GCC-4.9.1-upstream_fixes patch has not been added to the BLFS
pages. I plan to do that and to test (for tagging).
I have a question. Is this patch only needed for g++, or should it be
included whenever you build a compiler from the GCC?
Reason why I ask the question. The GCC pages are now splitted: is it
necessary to include the patch for all 3 pages?
Same question for the sed, actually, but it seems that one affects more
than g++, so I plan to include it on all pages.
If it helps, the patch fixes a regression in C++ compiler, so whenever
C++ compiler is being built, you need the patch.
The conservative thing to do is to include the patch. It may not be
strictly necessary for all three pages, but it would be difficult to
be sure. Let's use the patch for all three pages.

Actually, my question was just silly. g++ is rebuilt and reinstalled on
all three pages, and the patch is for g++, as Armin wrote.
So will 'include the patch into all three pages

PS : sorry for the ***SPAM*** I let pass through in the header, my ISP
keeps adding that to some of the messages from the list, but not all,
and I am unable to figure out what makes the difference. And of course,
I keep forgetting removing itwhen answering (if anybody could tell me a
good way to think of it...)
