Hi,

Although we say the opposite in the book, there is a working testsuite for
icedtea-web. It uses junit, and looks for junit.jar (or junit4.jar) inside
/usr/share/java. Another possibility is to pass'--with-junit=<location of
junit jar>' to configure (I'll try that first).

On my machine 17 out of 623 tests fail (8 of which are known to fail). I am
totally unable to debug the failing tests.

There are also tests available after installation: 'make run-cpp-unit-tests',
with 46 tests and no failure, and 'make run-netx-dist-tests', which I plan to
try soon (well, my step daughter is visiting us with her 18 month old child,
and I do not have much time...).
