LFS-7.7-rc1 has been released and it now time to do a package semi-freeze for
BLFS. This is what I'd like to see:
1. If a package has not been marked as LFS-7.7 checked AND all packages that
*are dependent on (required, or recommended)* that package are not yet marked
checked, then it's OK to update it. This should include all the packages that
have tickets for 7.7 in Trac.
2. If an editor wants to update something that does not fit the above, then we
should discuss it here first. About the only real exceptions though should be
security related.
3. No new packages for now.
4. Text changes, dependency changes, and instruction modifications should be
OK.

P.S. I DO intend to update LFS to the latest 3.19.x release before LFS goes
-stable.
