Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I didn't doubt it is installed in your case, but it sure isn't in my case, that's what I meant with mistery. It might be because of another version of "make" or whatever. I did both a
sudo make install and a make DESTDIR=/path/to/gstreamer-all and in both cases, the tools stuff was not installed.
