I think that there is a typo in the "LXQt Desktop Final Instructions" page.
In the section "Final configuration" you can read
"If installed in /usr, you do not need final configuration. Jump to
“Starting LXQt”, below."
and just after
"If “LXQT_PREFIX = /usr”, in order for the system to find some files,
run the following commands, as the |root| user:"
I think it is
"If LXQT_PREFIX is not /usr, in order for the system to find some files,
run the following commands, as the |root| user:"
or
If “LXQT_PREFIX = /opt”, in order for the system to find some files, run
the following commands, as the |root| user:"
