Has anyone built Thunderbird with gcc6 yet? The build fails for me using the book instructions (2016-06-12, but the instructions don't appear to have changed since then). I used the Firefox 46.0.1 instructions as a guide to get it to build (sed commands and CXX=) but it is crashing on me when I try to configure the email. I'm going to clean out everything and try again from scratch, but wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues with it.
