Hello folks,

It seems that there is a bug in DejaGNU-1.6.2 that's preventing the test suite in GDB from executing correctly. Upon execution, it will complain about a repeated command, and then crash. This is before DejaGNU/TCL/Expect/Check/whatever is in use here is actually executed.

Backing down to DejaGNU-1.6.1 allows the test suite to function correctly, and with limited errors.

Also, note that this affects both GDB-8.2 and GDB-8.2.1. I don't desire updating GDB to 8.2.1 at this time though (maybe another time), as my focus is zeroed-in on GNOME and systemd-240 at the moment.

I'd like to suggest backing down to DejaGNU-1.6.1 in both books, but unfortunately I don't know exactly what's causing it, and do not have the time to mess with it to figure it out at the moment.

Thanks guys,

Douglas R. Reno
