Hello,
So, qt-5.12.1, qtwebengin-5.12.1 are recompiling.
But I am not able to to recompile falkon.
cmake Compilation say;
Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5X11Extras"
with
any of the following names:
Qt5X11ExtrasConfig.cmake
qt5x11extras-config.cmake
Matter of fact, QtX11Extras is missing altogether from
files generated by qt-5.12.1 (but present within 5-12.0)
Pierre!?, could you confirm
/usr/include/QtX11Extras
is missing on your side too?
Could someone suggest something to double check
within qt-5.12.1 configuration? something to add?
Ok, problem was libxkbcommon not installed
while QT was compiled.
This is consistent with modification about
xkbcommon done in QT (between 5.12.0 and 5.12.1)
I suggest to change the BLFS libxkbcommon status
within QT page.
Move the need status from "Recommended" to "Required".
Without libixkbcommon present, QT do not
generate QtX11Extras.
Ok... Lets recompile all packages from scratch again (> 650 Packages)
Recommended packages are assumed in the book. Required means that you
can't build the package without it.
See the section in Chapter 2, Notes on Building Software -> Dependencies
"Recommended means that BLFS strongly suggests this package is installed
first for a clean and trouble-free build, that won't have issues either
during the build process, or at run-time. The instructions in the book
assume these packages are installed. Some changes or workarounds may be
required if these packages are not installed."
