We are now in our slushy freeze for updating packages for BLFS-8.4.
End packages (nothing depends on it) are OK for updates. Packages like Firefox, Thunderbird, Libreoffice, etc are examples.
Tagging starts tomorrow. No updates for tagged packages. Libraries, development programs (e.g. Chapter 13) probably should not be updated.
