Hello

pango 1.44.5 was issued
(revert a broken change (causing crashes on OS X))

More important, meson configuration variables changed

-Denable-docs is now -Dgtk_doc
-Dgir is now -Dinstrospection

(this was done with 1.44.0)

For now we are staying with pango-1.42.4.

OK, no problem.
just let you know, pango 1.44.5 build properly
on version 2019-08-17 (gcc-9.2.0, glib-2.30,...)
Just need to adjust build parameters.

The main problem was pygtk - that uses a lot of things which were
moved into private headers (not installed) and changed. It limits
gimp-2.10 (I had one successful build with that disabled, but
removing python scripting there is generally undesirable) and might
break inkscape.

Gimp-3.0 will not need pygtk, but will be released when its ready.

Agreed, pygtk is the problem.
I am presently doing a full recompilation, while pygtk is discarded,
so far, so good...
Note: I do NOT have ALL the BLFS components, so result may diverge
