Hi all

As a new release of my favorite DE is out and it's christmas, I thought I give it a go.

In short: An upgrade from 4.14 as in blfs svn works seamlessly, in the exact order as already in the book.

Apart from many bug-fixes and enhancements. there are just minor changes to the build:

- gtk+-2 is dropped completely. That should not bother anybody, I guess.
- libxfce4ui now can use liggtop, as in the book. It's auto-detected and if present shows the cpu, the gpu and total ram in "About Xfce4"

I would update the pages, but as I'm still on an  lfs 8.2 base toolchain on my gui development system, I was told to no gui updates (my thunderbird build size varied greatly from others).

However, I'd still like to share my details, to maybe make life easier for anybody updating the packages:

Thanks Tin.  It would be really nice of you had a development system that you could keep up to date.

I have an lfs 10.0 system now, but BLFS is not yet up to the gui stuff. I already started with xorg, but due to time constraints, it will take some more time to get it up to full gtk/xfce. I hope I can get there over the holidays, so I should be ready in January.

The old system has roughly 650 packages, I am currently on about 300 on the new system.

Bye
Tim
