If it's any consolation, I have the precompiled version of firefox (for
logistical reasons) with BLFS-5.0 and it does the same thing. If you hit
a page with a password(i.e. under https), and press "Proceed" I get a
blank prompt, or sometimes 2 sucessive blank prompts. I never chased it
but presumed it to be fonts. I currently have this in the terminal where
X was started
NO FONT WAS FOUND Name["Sans"]
Repeated many times. Mind you, I'm past trying to improve this system.
