Hello,
I would be really glad if you could share what kind of performance
monitor you use. Sure, I know about sysstat - but what I would like such
a tool to do (primarily) is to display the stats in a nice and pleasant
way over the web. I'm basically building a small home server to be
administered remotely; because of its size and permanent
'I-have-very-little-to-do' state, I was thinking sysstat might be too
big a gun for the small task. My goals are:
1. Tiny source & low resource usage
2. Web view (would sysstat's XML do?)
I've used Zabbix in the past (http://www.zabbix.com/) but it's a *huge*
app for monitoring at least a couple of servers.
Sorry if this email is rather chaotic... I guess I just need to finally
go and have a rest.
Best regards,
David Ciecierski
