The hint is very old and useful mainly for education now instead of using directly as is. Read the BLFS NTP page for what they consider the proper sequencing of the script. Also, I haven't compared the script that is in the hint to the one in the last released lfs-bootscripts package, but if they differ, use the official lfs setclock bootscript. -- Archaic Want control, education, and security from your operating system?
