You don't have ldap support in firefox because the instructions in the
BLFS book pass the --disable-ldap option to the configure script.
Rebuild firefox without that flag if you want ldap support in firefox
for OOo2.
You will also need to apply David's xmlsec patch found here when
building OOo2:
