I can add this: reading the patch jdk-1.0.5-xorg-6.8.1-1.patch it says that Xorg 6.8.1 builds a shared libXm by default. With Xorg 6.8.2 I've got no libXm.a or libXm.so installed. In my host.def there is nothing about motif which should not be build.
